Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Drainage Engineer to design and implement effective drainage systems for various projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering principles related to water management and drainage solutions, ensuring environmental compliance and optimal resource management.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop drainage systems for construction projects.
- Conduct hydrological studies to assess drainage needs and impacts.
- Collaborate with civil engineers and project managers to ensure project specifications are met.
- Analyze drainage designs using engineering software and tools.
- Prepare technical reports and documentation related to drainage projects.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding wastewater and drainage systems.
- Provide technical support and guidance during the construction phase.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in drainage engineering or related field.
- Hydraulic Modeling Experience with FLO 2d and HEC RAS
- Hydrology Experience, Floodplain Experience
- Strong knowledge of water resources and hydrology principles.
- Proficiency in engineering design software and tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
